THE STORY ESSAY METHOD teaches students how to use storytelling fundamentals to craft powerful personal statement essays that cannot be ignored. For the past 20 years, I've been helping students from a wide spectrum of academic achievement gain admission to their dream schools - from the most competitive public universities to the most prestigious private ones - on the strength of their personal essay.
I am a storyteller by profession - working in Hollywood as a writer - and I only work with a handful of applicants at a time to ensure each student gets the time and attention they need.

Yes! Many students approach me not knowing where to start; believing they have nothing interesting to share. I can tell you that, without a doubt, there is a profound compelling story inside you that you may not even know exists! Part of our work will be unlocking that story.
It largely depends on how much time the student has and can commit to working with me. Depending on that, it can take a few days to a few weeks.I try to remain flexible to the student's needs. During our introductory session, I'll explain the process and what you can expect.
That said, while my time is flexible, application deadlines are not. The sooner we start working together, the better.
No. I cannot advise on you what schools to apply to or which career to aspire to. I teach you how to communicate your unique story to schools you have chosen.
Admissions Consultants often come from a background of working in admissions offices. They can tell you what they like to read. I teach you how to write.
I do charge fixed rates which I'll share during our introductory meeting. I'll explain how I work and discuss different plans based on your needs. And then your family will have the time to discuss on their own whether they'd like to work with me.
All the work will be done online. Our meetings will be virtual and any writing will be done using software the student is comfortable with.
Absolutely. Over the years I've helped college students gain admission to competitive Business Schools, Medical Schools, Law Schools, Dental Schools, and all sorts of Masters and PhD programs.
You're probably stronger than you think! But don't worry. I work with a number of students who feel the same as you do. They don't feel that way by the time we get done working together.
